GO-GREEN GO CYCLING FROM LAKE GARDEN TO SG. WANG PLAZA AT “WOAH HIJAU” EVENT.
Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready to cycle in KL city center in conjunction of WOAH HIJAU! An event powered by SMET, in aid of Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to experience fun and show your support to the go-green campaign.
Details are as follows:
Date : Saturday, 24 October 2009
Time : 10.00am –1.00pm
Venue : Cycle for Lake Garden to Sungei Wang Plaza
Distance : 5.5 km
Other activities :
- Do colored hand print on our 6 meter long cotton cloth as a symbol of pledging to Go-Green.
- Lucky draw for lucky participants.
- Press conference.

Participation fees: RM30 for publics (Every RM10 will go to charity and RM20 for T-Shirts and Meal)
Special price for UiTM student: RM15 only.
WOAH HIJAU! is an event organized by the final year students of Advertising from the Faculty of Communication & Media Studies UiTM Shah Alam. It is a final project paper that the students cover for Sales Promotion subject. The students chose to organize a Go Green Go Cycling event in order to create awareness among the society and educate them with a message, cycling is a healthy and environmental friendly activity that can be apart of everyone’s daily lifestyle.This event is presented by SM Muhibbah Engineering & Trading Sdn. Bhd. (SMET), a engineering and wiring company that do substation for TNB. Through this event, SMET is doing an effort to be the first engineering and wiring company to do a Go-Green event. SMET also wants to introduce its new logo and management team through this event.
WOAH HIJAU! Is also a charity event organized in aid of Malaysian Nature Society. Fundraise for MNS is done through the collection of RM10 from the total fees from each participants. Other fund for MNS are raise from Students of UiTM and publics.
We would greatly appreciate it if you, publics who are interested to cycle with us in KL city center will come to show your support to go-green and create awareness among other publics.
